Police appeal after teenager seriously injured in Desborough collision
The collision happened between the rider of a manual scooter and a car at about 8:03am today (Monday 8 December)
Northamptonshire Police are appealing for witnesses after a teenage boy was seriously injured following a road traffic collision in Rothwell Road in Desborough.
At about 8.03am today (Monday 8 December), a collision occurred between the rider of a manual scooter (not electric) and the driver of a dark blue Ford Focus car.
As a result of the collision the boy was taken to the Queen’s Medical Centre in Nottingham with serious injuries.
Detectives from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit would like to hear from anyone who may have dash-cam footage that captured any part of the collision, which occurred between the junctions of Christopher Close and Brooke Close.

A 38-year-old man from Kettering has been arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving and remains in police custody.
