Overturned tanker causes closures on M1
Northamptonshire police were called to the incident last night (3rd October)
Emergency services were called to the M1 northbound last night (3rd October) following reports that a tanker had overturned after a crash.
A Northamptonshire Police spokesperson said they were dealing with the incident at around 10.45pm, and that junctions 14-16 were closed.
That was whilst emergency services were on the scene.
Junction 14 has since reopened, but junctions 15-16 are still closed.
A National Highways spokesperson says a "complex recovery operation is ongoing".
