Thames Valley Police have made an arrest in connection with sexual offences reported at an Aldi supermarket in Kingston, Milton Keynes.
A 45-year-old man from Northamptonshire was detained following an incident where he allegedly exposed himself and committed sexual activity in the presence of a child at about 6 pm on 17th July.
Investigation and Appeal for Information
Detective Sergeant Siobhan Jones, leading the investigation, addressed the distressing nature of the offences, which have caused shock within the local community.
Jones confirmed the arrest and detailed that the suspect remains in police custody for questioning.
She emphasised the need for public assistance, seeking witnesses or those with footage or relevant information who were present during the incident.
Police are specifically looking to get in touch with a couple believed to have witnessed the events and informed the child's parents.
