Man arrested after exposure report near Kettering play park

Northamptonshire Police want to hear from anyone in Brambleside who saw a man acting suspiciously

A man has been arrested after another man was reported exposing himself near a play park in Kettering.

Northamptonshire Police said the 46-year-old, from Kettering, was arrested on suspicion of exposure.

He has been released on police bail while enquiries continue.

What police say happened

Officers said a man was reportedly acting suspiciously near the play park area next to the One Stop shop in Brambleside.

It happened between 3.30pm and 4pm on Friday 28th August.

Police believe the area may have been busy at the time.

Appeal for witnesses

Officers want to hear from anyone who saw what happened or who has information that could help the investigation.

"Northamptonshire Police is committed to tackling all forms of sexual offending and we take reports of this nature very seriously," a force spokesperson said.
