Kyle Edwards has signed a new contract to extend his stay with Northampton Town to the end of the season.

Edwards was signed in August on a contract running up to and including the game on New Year's Day.

"I am pleased that Kyle will be staying with us," said manager Kevin Nolan.

"I am enjoying working with him and he is a player who has a good pedigree and we have seen the quality he has.

"We think there can be even more to come from him, his excellent performance on New Year's Day was an example of that, and we are pleased he will be staying with us."
