New football goals installed at Hemmingwell Skate Park
It's hoped that the new facilities will provide a 'safe and welcoming space for children and young people'
North Northamptonshire Council have installed new permanent football goal post near the skate park on the Hemmingwell Estate, creating a dedicated football pitch that is free for local residents.
It is hoped that the new facilities will provide a 'safe and welcoming space for children, young people, families and friends to come together, play football, stay active and strengthen community connections'.
The football pitch is one of the projects planned over the coming four years aimed at enhancing community wellbeing, encouraging participation in physical activity and creating positive opportunities for local people.
