Corby welcomes expansion of Family Hub network
New centres aim to enhance children and family support
Children, young people, and families in Corby are set to benefit from expanded services as North Northamptonshire Council extends its Family Hub network into the area.
The Best Start Family Hub network, opening this month, will initially operate from Kingswood Children’s Centre on Alberta Close and Exeter Primary School on Brayford Avenue.
Designed to provide accessible support for families, the council says these hubs will offer a wider range of services, marking a significant step in enhancing the local community's support framework.
The council also plans to expand the Family Hub network further across Corby, strengthening the opportunities for families to access essential services.
Cornelia Andrecut, North Northamptonshire Council’s Executive Director of Children's Services, said: “We are delighted to be expanding our Best Start Family Hub network into Corby.
''This is an exciting opportunity to build on the fantastic work already being delivered, while making it easier for families to access a wide range of support, services and activities.”
Families currently utilising services will be kept informed as new developments are rolled out and further opportunities become available.
Open days are planned for 3rd September at Kingswood Children’s Centre and 4th September at Exeter Primary School, allowing visitors to engage with the new initiatives including helping choose a name for the Hub's new mascot and sharing ideas for services.
