Appeal after single vehicle collision in Northamptonshire

It happened on the A6003 between Corby and Kettering

Northamptonshire Police is appealing for witnesses after a man was injured in a collision on the A6003 between Corby and Kettering.

It happened at about 8.45am on Friday 5 December, between the Oakley Hay roundabout and Barford Bridge.

The driver of a grey Hyundai Ioniq 5 was travelling towards Kettering when, near to Barford Bridge, he struck a number of vehicles before entering the grass verge and colliding with a tree before the vehicle caught fire.

As a result of the collision, the driver, a man in his 20s, was taken to University Hospital Coventry for treatment.

Officers from the forces Roads Policing Team say they are now appealing for witnesses and would also like to hear from anyone who may have dash-cam footage that captured any part of the incident.
