18-year-old in critical condition after three-vehicle crash near York
Another man was also taken to hospital for treatment to serious injuries
An 18-year-old has suffered life-threatening injuries after a three-vehicle collision near York.
It was reported at around 6.55pm yesterday (31 October) that a grey Renault Master, black Mini Cooper, and blue Ford Focus had been in a collision on the A1079 between Wilberfoss and Barmby Moor.
Emergency services attended the scene, and the driver of the Mini Cooper, an 18-year-old woman, was taken to hospital for treatment to life-threatening injuries.
She remains in a critical condition at this time.
The driver of the Renault, a 27-year-old man, was also taken to hospital for treatment to serious injuries.
Police are asking that anyone who was in the area around the time of the collision, or anyone who has CCTV or dashcam footage comes forward to assist with the investigation.
