Three men missing after running from police near Northallerton

Police in North Yorkshire are looking for three men who ran from officers near Northallerton.

Officers say they'd attempted to stop a car yesterday afternoon (8th December).

The car, a black Ford Kuga, didn't stop and was later found abandoned at the Tontine, near Osmotherley.

A North Yorkshire police spokesperson said, "Officers are now seeking three men who are believed to have been in the car, and may still be in the area.

"One of the men is described as white, with a dark beard. Another is described as Asian, with dark hair and a beard.

"North Yorkshire Police are urging anyone who has seen men in the area matching that description - or anyone with relevant dashcam or CCTV footage - to call police straight away.

"Dial 999 with an immediate sighting, or 101 to pass information. Please quote reference number NYP-08122025-0277."
