Cyclist in 80s suffers pelvis fractures following Skipton town centre collision

Officers are appealing for information after a cyclist was taken to hospital with pelvis fractures following a collision in Skipton town centre.

Emergency services were called out to the A6131 High Street, at the junction with the roundabout at the War Memorial, on 21st February 2026.

They receieved reports at around 10.30am that a pedal cycle and car had collided.

The rider of the cycle, a man in his 80s, was taken to hospital with multiple fractures to his pelvis.

Police are now appealing for witnesses, as they believe multiple people stopped and helped the man.
