Man arrested after woman suffers knife wounds in York

A man has been arrested after a woman was taken to hospital with knife wounds in York.
Police were called to an address on Lindley Road in the Rawcliffe area at around 5.50pm yesterday (10 January).
The woman had suffered serious injuries, believed to have been caused by a knife.
North Yorkshire Police said a 35-year-old man was arrested in connection with the incident.
