Man dies after HGV crashes into field near Selby

A man from Humberside has died following a collision involving a lorry near Selby.

Officers say a HGV left the road in Drax in the early hours of this morning (6th January) before crashing into a field.

The driver, a man in his 60s, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Any witnesses are being urged to contact the police by calling 101 and quoting reference 12260002813.
