Investigation after flammable 'device' placed inside machinery in Coedpoeth

Police say had the device detonated someone could have been seriously injured or killed

Police are appealing for information from the public as part of their investigation into vehicle interference in Coedpoeth.

The incident reportedly involved a small, flammable device being placed inside a piece of machinery at a site on Talwrn Road on Thursday, 10th September.

No injuries were reported, and the device has been seized by authorities.

Detective Inspector Claire Roberts from the eastern CID commented on the seriousness of the situation: "Had the device detonated, someone could have been seriously injured or killed."

Investigators are urging anyone with information or who might have seen any suspicious activity to contact the police.
