Arrest made after serious multi-car crash on A47 near Narborough

Police are appealing for witnesses following a serious collision on the A47 in Narborough that involved five vehicles.

The incident took place at 5.30am on 25th February 2026, and saw emergency services, including fire, ambulance, and air ambulance, respond.

Vehicles involved in the crash included a silver Skoda Octavia, a white BMW 320, a white VW Crafter, a white Mercedes Sprinter, and a cream Fiat 500.

The Skoda driver, a man in his 30s, was transported to Queen Elizabeth Hospital with serious injuries and later discharged.

He was then arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by careless driving and is currently being questioned at King’s Lynn Police Investigation Centre.

A passenger in the Skoda, a man in his 40s, suffered life-threatening injuries and is being treated at Addenbrooke’s Hospital.

The BMW driver, also a man in his 30s, was treated at Queen Elizabeth Hospital and has been discharged.

The road was closed to allow emergency services to attend but reopened at around 5pm.

Officers are urging witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage to come forward with information.
