Family pays tribute to 17-year-old who died in North Walsham's Memorial Park
An inquest has opened into her death today (24th February 2026)
The family of 17-year-old Courtney Morgan have remembered her as a kind and caring person as an inquest opens into her death.
Courtney died in Memorial Park, North Walsham, on 12th February 2026.
Her parents described her as 'truly one in a million' and spoke about her involvement with army cadets and volunteering to help young children at a local skating club.
They added that she brought light into every room she entered and expressed their profound sense of loss.
Emergency services discovered a body in the park, responding to reports shortly after 7am.
Despite efforts from the response team, she was confirmed dead at the scene.
The police have indicated that her death is not being treated as suspicious.
