The family of a man, whoo died after a collision on the A47, has paid tribute to 'a devoted father, a cherished son and a loving brother'.

36 year-old Thomas Hurren died on 11 December 2024, when the car he was driving was in a collision on the A47, between Hopton and Gorleston.

As an inquest into his death concluded today (9 June 2026), Thomas' family released the following tribute:

"Thomas was a loving father to two children and a much loved son and brother.

"He was full of life, with a cheeky and mischievous character that made him unique. He wasn't everyone's cup of tea, but those who truly knew him understood the kind hearted person he was.

"At times he was misunderstood, and throughout his life he faced the challenges of ADHD. Despite this, he always tried his best, even if he didn't always make the right decisions, as many of us do.

"The loss of his brother deeply affected him, and it was something he never truly came to terms with. That grief remained with him throughout his life.

"Above all, he was a devoted father, a cherished son, and a loving brother. His absence leaves a space that can never be filled and he will always be missed, always remembered and thought of regularly by those who loved him.

"We are proud to have known and loved him, and his memory will remain in our hearts forever.

"RIP our boy."
