Rodrigo Ramos sentenced to over five years in prison
Rodrigo Ramos, a 26-year-old drug dealer from St John's Way, Thetford, has been sentenced to five years, seven months, and six days in prison by Norwich Crown Court.
On 14th October 2026, Ramos was convicted of possession of cocaine with intent to supply, possession of cannabis, and failing to disclose his mobile phone PIN.
His arrest on 9th August 2026 followed intelligence linking him to drug activities.
During a search of his residence, officers discovered around 54 grams of cocaine worth an estimated £5,460 hidden in shoeboxes inside a wardrobe.
Alongside the cocaine, police recovered scales and packaging used for drug distribution and a small quantity of cannabis from Ramos's bedside table.
Despite admitting the offences, Ramos refused to provide his phone PIN.
Sgt Dan Shelley emphasised the harm caused by drug dealing, stating, "The quantity of cocaine recovered, together with the scales and packaging, showed Ramos was actively involved in supplying drugs within the community."
He added, "Drug dealing causes significant harm and misery, and we will continue to act on intelligence and target those involved in the supply of illegal drugs."
