Second man charged with rape in Great Yarmouth

Charges follow alleged assaults of two teenage girls

A 35-year-old man from Caister-on-Sea has been charged with multiple sexual offences after the alleged rape and assault of two teenage girls in Great Yarmouth.

Dawid Wlach is charged with rape, oral rape, assault by penetration, and sexual assault.

He is the second individual to be charged in relation to the incident following charges against 34-year-old Madalin Ilinca.

The charges stem from reports that two teenage girls were sexually assaulted and raped on South Beach in Great Yarmouth on the night of 16th May.

Wlach, who is a Polish national, has been conditionally bailed pending further court proceedings.

linca, a Romanian national, has been remanded in custody.

Both men are scheduled to appear for a plea and trial preparation hearing at Norwich Crown Court on 28th July.
