Police appeal for witnesses following serious collision in Weeting

Police are appealing for witnesses following a serious collision in Weeting yesterday (Thursday 16 April 2026).
It happened at 10.34am on the A1065 Mundford Road (at the junction with Peppers High Hill and Harling Drove) and involved a silver Suzuki Swift, a grey Citroen Picasso and a red Nissan Qashqai.
Norfolk Police says the driver of the Citroen, a man in his 80s, and a passenger, a woman in her 70s, were both taken to hospital with serious injuries where they remain.
The road was closed while emergency services, including ambulance, fire and air ambulance, attended.
Officers say they would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the incident or the manner of driving of any of the vehicles prior to the collision.
Anyone with any information or relevant dashcam footage is being asked to get in touch with Norfolk Police on 101 quoting reference CAD 151 of 16 April.
