Norfolk Police arrested 41 people and seized 40 vehicles as part of a proactive operation targeting criminal activity on the county's roads.
The week-long operation, known as Lockstream, took place from 21st to 27th September 2026, focusing on key locations including Thetford, Diss, Swaffham, Great Yarmouth, and a joint effort with Cambridgeshire Police near Wisbech.
Its aim was to disrupt organised crime, identify wanted offenders, and tackle offences linked to road use.
Among the arrests was a man using a false driving licence, leading to the discovery of a cannabis cultivation operation worth an estimated £10,000.
Another suspect was charged after failing to appear at court for multiple theft offences.
One individual was found to be an immigration absconder using a counterfeit UK driving licence, while three arrests in King's Lynn linked to theft offences revealed outstanding warrants and immigration interest.
Operation leader Sgt Josh Preston highlighted the success of intelligence-led policing in disrupting criminals using Norfolk's roads.
"Lockstream demonstrates the value of proactive policing and the importance of using intelligence-led tactics," Preston said.
The results underscore the commitment to keeping Norfolk safe by targeting serious criminality, theft, drug offences, immigration offences, and organised crime.
