Nine members of Norfolk Fire & Rescue Service are rising to the tough 4×4×48 Challenge.

The challenge involves running four miles every four hours for a total of 48 hours.

Participants will face 12 separate runs amounting to 48 miles each, with minimal sleep between their efforts.

They're raising money and awareness for two causes supporting the health and welfare of their community: The Fire Fighters Charity and the NFRS Sports, Social & Wellbeing Club.

The initiative highlights the importance of having support available when needed in their work and daily lives.

They aim to reach a fundraising target of £9,999, encouraging 999 people to support their mission.

Funds will be divided between the two causes providing essential help for the fire service community.

The NFRS Sports, Social & Wellbeing Club supports the fundraising page, helping distribute money to the charities after the challenge.

Donations and shares are warmly welcomed to help meet the £9,999 target and rally 999 supporters for the effort.

Everyone's help can connect nine NFRS runners with new supporters as they run 48 miles over 48 hours.

One challenge, two great causes.
