Heritage Live cancels summer concerts due to low ticket sales and financial uncertainty
Events with world class acts like Janet Jackson, at Englefield, Audley End, and Sandringham Estates called off.

The Heritage Live concert series has announced the cancellation of its summer festivals at Englefield Estate in Berkshire, Audley End Estate in Essex, and Sandringham Estate in Norfolk, citing significantly lower than average ticket sales and ongoing financial uncertainty.
The series was set to feature a star-studded lineup, including Janet Jackson, Christina Aguilera, Eric Clapton, Ricky Martin, and Lionel Richie at Sandringham; Scissor Sisters, Pete Tong, The Streets, and Faithless at Audley End; and Richard Ashcroft, UB40 featuring Ali Campbell, and Ministry of Sound Classical at Englefield.
In a statement, Heritage Live organisers expressed their devastation at the need to cancel, explaining that efforts to secure an investment and equity package fell through, making it unfeasible to proceed.
The statement highlighted the challenges faced by independent promoters in a competitive festival market dominated by large multi-national companies, driving up costs for suppliers, artists, and staffing.
The organisers emphasised the impact of the cost-of-living crisis and general financial uncertainty on ticket sales, making it impossible to cover expenses sustainably.
Heritage Live assured ticket holders that refunds would be processed through agents including AXS Ticketing, Ticketmaster, See Tickets, Gigantic, Skiddle, and Ticketline, advising them to retain transaction receipts.
Many refunds will be automatic within a reasonable period.
The organisers thanked supporters for their engagement over the past decade, expressing hope that attendees would cherish memories from past events despite the news.
Ricky Martin, scheduled to perform his first UK show in a decade at Sandringham, was among the anticipated headliners.
Previous day festival series featured prominent acts such as The Who, Sir Tom Jones, Sir Van Morrison, Mariah Carey, Pet Shop Boys, Robbie Williams, Jess Glynne, and Nile Rodgers.
