A man who captured secret footage of children using the bathroom has been sentenced to 44 months behind bars.
Gaven Clarke, 41, of Brancaster Close, Drayton, received his sentence at Norwich Crown Court after admitting to charges including voyeurism and making indecent images of children.
His offences came to light when a young girl discovered a hidden camera phone recording in the bathroom and notified her parents, prompting police involvement.
Investigators found that Clarke had filmed children showering and using the toilet over a five-year period from 2020 to 2025.
Officers also discovered hundreds of downloaded indecent images of children on Clarke's digital devices.
Victims shared their distress in court, with one recounting feelings of shock, disgust, and an enduring sense of unease with public restrooms.
Clarke has been placed on the sex offenders’ register for life and is subject to restraining and Sexual Harm Prevention Orders.
Detective Sergeant Ash Parker from Norfolk Police commended the victims' bravery, emphasising the violation's impact and encouraging others faced with similar offences to contact police.
