A drug dealer, whose ‘Rico’ County Line supplied crack cocaine and heroin across Great Yarmouth and Norwich, has been jailed.

Sidnei Sa, 27, of Sackville Close, Yarmouth, appeared at Norwich Crown Court on Monday 23 February 2026 for sentencing, after admitting a number of charges at an earlier hearing.

He was handed a four year jail sentence for setting up and running the line.

His conviction follows a detailed investigation by Norfolk Police after a woman died of a suspected drug overdose on 18 January 2026.

Analysis of her phone showed contact with the Rico drug line, and - based on that data and other inquiries - police identified a suspect.

Sa was arrested on 20 January 2026 after initially attempting to avoid officers by jumping from a first floor window and trying to escape on foot.

He admitted to six offences which were:

Being concerned in the supply of heroin between 7 January 2026 and 21 January 2026.

Assaulting a police officer on 20 January 2026.

Possession of cannabis on 20 January 2026.

Possession of diamorphine on 20 January 2026.

Possession of criminal property on 20 January 2026 , namely £1178.14 in cash.

Being concerned in the supply of crack cocaine on 20 January 2026.

Detective Inspector Jo Minnis, from the Norfolk County Lines Team, said: “This was a complex investigation which began with the tragic death of woman.

“Officers carried out detailed enquiries, including analysis of mobile phone evidence, which led directly to Sa who was swiftly arrested.

“Those involved in the supply of illegal drugs cause huge harm and we will continue to pursue those who profit from it using every available line of inquiry to bring them before the courts.

“I would appeal to concerned members of the public to share information online via the Norfolk Constabulary website, through calling 101, or by anonymously reporting through Crimestoppers.”
