Appeal after reported ATM theft in early-morning raid on Watton High Street
Police seek witnesses and dashcam footage after cash machine allegedly torn from building using a telehandler
Police are investigating the theft of a cash machine following an early-morning incident in Watton.
Officers were called to High Street at around 4.54am on Wednesday, 15 July, after thieves reportedly removed an ATM from the front of a property.
Investigators believe four people were involved in the raid, using a blue Nissan Navara and a red Alfa Romeo. A telehandler was also used to pull the cash machine from the wall.
All three vehicles, along with the stolen ATM, have since been recovered. Police said inquiries are continuing and a cordon remains in place at the scene while investigations are carried out.
Anyone who witnessed the incident, has dashcam footage from the area, or noticed suspicious activity around the time of the theft is urged to contact Norfolk Police.
