Appeal following A10 collision that resulted in death of motorcyclist
A man has been arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by careless driving and released under investigation
Police are appealing for witnesses following a collision on the A10 at South Runcton yesterday (7 April), which has resulted in the death of a motorcyclist.
The collision happened at around 7am and involved a white Ford transit Connect travelling southbound towards Downham Market and a yellow BMW K1200 motorcycle heading northbound.
The motorcyclist, a man in his 50s, was airlifted to Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge but died the next day.
The van driver, a man aged in his 30s, was arrested at the scene on suspicion of causing serious injury by careless driving.
He has been released under investigation.
Officers are urging witnesses and anyone who holds dash-cam footage to come forward in order to support their investigation.
