Three hospitalised after car overturns near Blackhall Colliery
Land, air and rapid response ambulances were rushed to the scene
Three people are in hospital after a car flipped over near Blackhall Colliery.
It happened on the B1281 Hesleden Road just after seven last night (2/8).
Paramedics say they treated all three at the scene before taking them to hospital.
A spokesperson for North East Ambulance Service said: "We were called just before 7.15pm today (2 AUG) to reports of a car overturned on the B1281 Hesleden Road near Blackhall Colliery.
"We dispatched three ambulance crews, the air ambulance, a rapid response paramedic, a clinical team leader and an advanced paramedic.
"We treated three patients before conveying all three to hospital."
