Jordan Henderson has been in hospital with 'quite a serious injury' after falling over an advertising hoarding, as England celebrated their 3-2 win over Mexico at the World Cup.

The midfielder from Sunderland has now been ruled out of the rest of the tournament following an injury to his wrist at the the Azteca Stadium.

The 36-year-old's played just six minutes at the World Cup, featuring in the closing stages of their 2-nil group victory against Panama.
