Rudimental set for a high-energy return to Newcastle after a decade
Exclusive DJ set at NX Newcastle planned for this December
Rudimental, one of the biggest names in British dance music, is returning to Newcastle for an exclusive DJ set at NX Newcastle on Saturday, 12th December 2026.
This marks the band's first appearance in the city since 2016, bringing a high-energy show centered around their Drum & Bass origins. Known for global hits like ‘Feel The Love’, ‘Waiting All Night’, and ‘These Days’, Rudimental has been at the forefront of British electronic music over the past decade. They have amassed three UK Number One singles and two Number One albums.
Their new era, embodied in the fifth studio album RUDIM3NTAL, revives their connection with sound system culture and pirate radio influences. The album features collaborations with a diverse range of artists such as Popcaan, Idris Elba, Khalid, MIST, Skepsis, Charlotte Plank, Riko Dan, and Mystic Marley.
Venue Manager Luke Rushfirth expressed enthusiasm for the event, highlighting the uniqueness of Rudimental's current approach, which focuses on Drum & Bass roots. Rushfirth stated, "Rudimental are a massive booking for NX and exactly the calibre of artist we want to keep bringing to Newcastle."
