The Prime Minister tells us the age of domestic abuse seems to be getting lower and something they will continue to look into.

15-year-old Holly Newton was murdered by her ex-boyfriend in Hexham.

But three years later - because of her age - she is still not recognised as a domestic abuse victim.

We spoke to Sir Keir Starmer about whether they're going to implement 'Holly's Law' and he said: "I'm acutely aware that sadly the age of abuse seems to be going down lower rather than higher so we do need to look at what more we can do there. I think she's been meeting the safeguarding minister which is really important and I'll make sure that that continues, so we will look at whatever we can do.

"My heart goes out to her and I assure her that I can speak of behalf, not just everybody in Parliament but everybody across the country."

We put the Prime Minister's answer to Holly's mum, Micala Trussler, who said: "I would love to meet with him in person to obviously get my views across on teenager relationships and abuse in teenage relationships. Hopefully we can kind of continue to work with the Government to make these changes, to make positive changes in Holly's memory.

"At least places are now acknowledging this and trying to get some sort of things in place but it's very difficult for as long as the law states under 16s can't be victims."
