A man's been left with serious facial injuries following a disagreement
Police have released pictures of a man they want to speak to following an attack in Sunderland.
They were called just after 5.35pm on Sunday 3rd May to reports an injured man had gone to a premises on Vine Place in the city centre.
It's understood he'd been involved in a disagreement with another man on Holmeside who had then assaulted him.
The offender had left the area before police arrived and the victim, a man in his 30s, was taken to hospital for serious facial injuries.
Police say they're trying to find those responsible and are looking through CCTV footage of the area.
They're now releasing pictures of a man they'd like to trace as part of their investigation.
He was believed to have been in the area at the time of the assault and may have information that could assist them.
