Investigation launched after man exposed himself to woman in Hexham

Police are investigating an incident of indecent exposure in Hexham last month

Officers are investigating a report of indecent exposure in Northumberland and are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.

Police received a report that at around 3.30pm on Saturday, April 25, a woman was approached by a man at Dukeshouse Wood in Hexham, who then proceeded to indecently expose himself.

The man is described as a white male, of medium build, and approximately 5ft9 or 10 inches in height.

Officers are today appealing for witnesses or any information which may assist them to trace the person responsible.

As part of police enquiries, there will be increased patrol activity in the area, and anyone with concerns is asked to speak to an officer on duty or to get in touch.
