Appeal to trace driver who 'fled the scene' after crash in Sunderland
A Suzuki is said to have hit two parked cars in the Pallion area
Police are trying to trace a driver who they say fled the scene after a three-car crash in Sunderland’s Pallion area.
It happened yesterday (3/8) on Saint Lukes Road, when a Suzuki hit two parked cars.
No one was hurt, but the road was blocked for a while as the cars were cleared.
A Northumbria Police spokesperson said: “Just before 5pm on yesterday (Sunday) we received a report of a three-vehicle collision on Saint Lukes Road in the Pallion area of Sunderland.
“It was reported that, for reasons yet to be established, a Suzuki has collided with two stationary vehicles.
“The driver of the Suzuki fled the scene prior to officers arriving.
“No injuries were reported.
“The road was partially blocked for a short period of time to allow for recovery of the vehicles but has since fully re-opened.
