Teenager suffers life changing injuries after a shooting in Rochdale

A nineteen year old man has been taken to hospital with 'life changing' injuries to his leg, after a shooting in Rochdale.
It happened on Beswicke Royds Street at around 3:20pm (5th March).
Armed police closed multiple roads and have stepped up patrols in the area.
Officers say they’re working to find out exactly what happened and are urging anyone with information to get in touch.
