Investigation into mystery death of woman on Greater Manchester road
The woman, aged 70, was rushed to hospital with serious injuries on Sunday (10 August)
Police are investigating the death of a pensioner who was found seriously injured in the middle of a road on the border of Oldham and Tameside.
Emergency services were called to Waggon Road at around 14:30BST on Sunday (10 August), and the woman, 70, was rushed to hospital.
The woman was unconscious when she was discovered and later died.
Officers from the Senior Collision Investigation Unit are looking into how she came to be in the road.
