Mancunian Way closed in both directions due to 'serious' incident
Police have been on the scene since the early hours of this morning (Friday 31 October)
Drivers heading into Manchester city centre are being warned of potential travel chaos because of a closure on the Mancunian Way.
The road is shut in both directions from Princess Road to the Chester Road roundabout due to a 'serious police incident'.
According to Transport for Greater Manchester, the road was closed at around 01:00GMT on Friday morning (31 October).
National Highways have confirmed police are on the scene and drivers have been told to expect delays.
