Man dies after being hit by car in Manchester

A 45-year-old man has died after being hit by a car in Manchester.
The collision happened shortly after midnight (Sunday 7th December) on Ardwick Green South, where the man is believed to have been crossing the road when he was hit.
Emergency services attended the scene, but the man died from his injuries. His family has been informed and is receiving support from specialist officers.
The driver of the car stayed at the scene, and no arrests have been made.
Police are appealing for anyone with CCTV footage, dashcam recordings, or doorbell cameras that might show the collision to come forward.
They also want to speak with anyone who witnessed the incident or was in the area at the time.
