Police appeal for footage after two men attacked

A man has been charged following a police investigation into a reported stabbing in Bolton, after two men were attacked on the morning of Tuesday 21st April.

Greater Manchester Police confirmed that Stephen Nolan, of Tonge Moor Road in Bolton, has been charged with grievous bodily harm and an attempted Section 18 assault. The 67-year-old was remanded in custody and is due to appear at Wigan and Leigh Magistrates’ Court on Thursday 23rd April.

Investigation continues after attack

Officers launched an investigation after receiving reports that two men had been attacked at around 10.30am. Police have not released further details about the victims or the extent of their injuries.

As enquiries continue, officers are urging members of the public to come forward with any information that could assist the investigation.

Appeal for CCTV and dashcam footage

Police are particularly interested in reviewing any CCTV, dashcam or doorbell footage captured in the area at the time of the incident.
