The family of a woman who died following a collision in the Little Hulton area of Salford last week have paid tribute to her.

Connie Fish, 87, was on a mobility scooter when she was involved in the collision with a car on Manchester Road West at around 11.15am on Thursday 27 November.

A spokesperson for her family said: “We are heartbroken at the sudden loss of Connie Fish, a much-loved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

“Connie adored her family and brought so much laughter into the lives of everyone who knew her. She was hilariously funny, caring, thoughtful, and had a wonderful ability to make friends wherever she went.

“Everyone who met her loved her, and she brought so much laughter to others. Her warmth and kindness touched so many people.

“We are incredibly grateful for all the love and support we’ve received.”

Officers from Greater Manchester Police's Serious Collision Investigation Unit are continuing to ask for anyone with information to come forward, including anyone who saw the vehicle driving before the collision, witnessed the incident itself, or has dashcam footage of what happened.
