Four charged over Dovestone Reservoir wildfire incident
Accusations of arson and drug possession as investigation continues
Four individuals have been charged in connection with the wildfire that occurred at Dovestone Reservoir on 11th July 2026. The charges range from arson to possession of drugs, as authorities delve deeper into the events leading up to the fire.
Tyler Warburton, Toby Wilde, Jake Eyre, and Lyreec Bryan-Gavin have all been formally charged with arson with recklessness as to whether life was endangered. Additionally, Wilde and Eyre face charges of possession of class B (cannabis).

The accused have been bailed and are set to appear at Manchester and Salford Magistrates’ Court on 25th February 2027. Their court appearance will address the severe allegations tied to the careless outbreak of the wildfire.
