Detectives investigating the murder of Adrian Brown are asking people to come forward with mobile phone footage from a night out in Moss Side.

Officers say they are particularly keen to hear from anyone who was at or near the West Indian Sports and Social Club on Westwood Street on Friday 8th May 2026.

The appeal comes after 34-year-old Adrian Brown died following a stabbing near the club.

Police ask for videos and photos

Greater Manchester Police said around 200 people had been at the venue that evening.

Detectives believe some of those present may have taken photos or videos which could help investigators understand what happened before and after the attack.

Adrian had been attending an event at the club.

At around 11pm, he was assaulted outside the front entrance before the attack continued onto nearby Raby Street.

Officers later found Adrian with stab wounds to his chest following reports of a serious assault.

He was taken to hospital, where he later died from his injuries.
