Air Ambulance lands after "serious" M6 incident in Cheshire

The M6 in Cheshire has been closed in both directions following a serious crash.

Emergency services, including the North West Air Ambulance, are currently at the scene at Junction 19 near Knutsford and Tabley.

National Highways said the southbound carriageway is shut within Junction 19, while the northbound side is closed between Junction 19 and Junction 20 at Lymm.

Drivers are being diverted via the exit and entry slip roads at the affected junctions.
