Three charged in connection to attempted arson attack at Persian media organisation in north London

Three people have been charged in connection to an attempted arson attack in north west London.

Oisin McGuinness who is 21 and Nathan Dunn, who is 19 - both from Watford and a 16-year-old boy from north London have been charged with arson with intent to endanger life.

Additionally, McGuinness was also charged with dangerous driving.

It follows an attempted arson attack at the offices of a Persian media organisation in Wembley.

Officers on patrol were told at about 8.30pm on Wednesday that an “ignited container” had been thrown towards the site on , landing in a car park where the fire immediately went out.

It is understood the offices of Volant Media, the parent company of Persian news channel Iran International, were targeted.

There were no injuries and no damage was reported.

The three people charged are British nationals and will appear at Westminster Magistrates’ Court later on Friday, Scotland Yard said.
