Detectives investigating the murder of a 55-year-old in Brent are releasing the name and image of a man they wish to speak to and offering a £10,000 reward.

Simon Whyte died after being shot on Harrow Road, at the junction with West End Close, Stonebridge on Friday, 19 December 2025.

Officers are now looking to speak to 41-year-old Pierre Thompson, from West London, as part of their enquiries.

Detective Inspector Jim Barry, who is leading the investigation, said: “Today marks six months since Simon’s death and his family and friends are continuing to come to terms with their loss.

“They are desperate for answers as to what happened that evening and we have already carried out extensive enquiries to build up a picture of the events of that night.

“We are now appealing to the public to help us progress our investigation and would urge anyone who knows the whereabouts of Pierre Thompson to contact police or independent charity Crimestoppers immediately.”

Crimestoppers are also offering an appeal of up to £10,000 for information that leads to the arrest of Pierre Thompson.
