Appeal after pedestrian dies following in collision in north London
The driver of the van is helping police with their investigation.
A 22-year-old pedestrian has died following a road traffic collision with a van in Enfield.
The incident occurred on Turkey Street, EN3 at 6:18 am on 6th February.
Police and emergency services, including the London Ambulance Service and the London Air Ambulance, rushed to the scene.
The man received treatment at the site before being transported to the hospital, where he could not be saved.
His family has been notified and is receiving support from specialist officers at the Met's Serious Collision Investigation Unit.
The van driver stopped immediately and is helping the police with their investigation.
No arrests have been made as enquiries continue.
According to a spokesperson from the Met Police, the investigation is still ongoing, and they are reviewing footage to find answers.
"We continue to review all footage as part of our enquiries and are now asking the public to come forward with any relevant information that could assist us,” the spokesperson said.
