Murder investigation launched after man dies in south west London
The victim, a man in his 20s suffered knife injuries in Battersea.
Police have launched a murder investigation following the death of a man who was stabbed in Battersea.
Officers responded to the call at 18:14hrs on 2nd March, joining paramedics on Thessaly Road, where a man in his 20s had suffered knife injuries.
He was taken to hospital in a life-threatening condition, but despite medical efforts, he was later pronounced dead.
His family is receiving support from specialist officers.
Two men, aged 28 and 38, were arrested and are in police custody.
A large cordon remains in place as specialist homicide detectives continue their enquiries.
Appeal for Information
Detective Chief Inspector Brian Howie, leading the investigation, said:
"This is a deeply tragic incident, and our thoughts remain firmly with the victim’s family during this extremely difficult time."
"A homicide investigation has now been launched, and we are working urgently to establish the full circumstances surrounding this attack."
"We are urgently appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident, has information, or may have CCTV, doorbell, or dash-cam footage from the area, to contact the police."
