A man's been arrested after a stabbing in west London

Emergency crews were called to the High Street on Tuesday lunchtime where they found a man with injuries

A Met spokesperson said: “On Tuesday, 30 June at 12:02hrs police were called to reports of a stabbing on Ruislip High Street.

“Officers attended alongside the London Ambulance Service, who treated a 45-year-old man before taking him to hospital. We await an update on his condition.

“A 55-year-old man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of grievous bodily harm. He was taken to police custody, where he remains.

A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said:

“We were called at 12.04pm today (30 June) to reports of a stabbing on High Street, Ruislip.

“We sent resources to the scene including an ambulance crew, an incident response officer and a paramedic in a fast response car. We also dispatched London’s Air Ambulance.

“We treated a patient for a stab wound and took them to a major trauma centre as a priority by road.”
