Harrow man jailed for life for kidnap and sexual assault of young girl
Harrow Crown Court heard how he kidnapped the 11-year old on her way home from primary school
A man has been sentenced to life in prison for the kidnap and sexual assault of a 11-year-old girl.
Adam Baillie, 39, of Spring Way, Harrow has been sentenced to life imprisonment, must serve at least 10 years,.
The court heard how on 19 April 2024, Baillie kidnapped the girl on her way home from primary school in Harrow before taking her to his property where he seriously sexually assaulted her.
She was able to flee, and with the help of neighbours, and the police were notified.
With the support of officers, the girl was able to identify the property, leading to Baillie’s arrest.
Baillie was found guilty on 16 October 2024, at Harrow Crown Court.
He was also convicted of kidnap of actual bodily harm.
