A court has been told a 50 year old woman was chased down the street by her son on an e-scooter in north west London before being fatally stabbed in the back
Amaal Raytaan was attacked in front of a bus full of passengers on Pound Lane in Willesden on Saturday afternoon.
Despite treatment from emergency crews she died at the scene at 4.34pm
Today 25 year old Najiib Raytaan appeared in court charged with murder and possession of a bladed article in public
Wearing a grey sweater, he spoke to confirm his identity and was remanded into custody.
The Metropolitan Police has not released the identity of the victim, who is named on court documents outlining the charges.
She was referred to as the defendant's mother by prosecutor Nadeem Holland during the hearing.
